The Wrong Door Bafta Nomination

I've just heard that THe Wrong Door has been nominated for a Visual Effects Bafta (here).

It's up against  programmes such as Primeval, and Doctor Who. Which is pretty amazing, as it was just a handful of very talented people with a miniscule budget, and they acheived a shot list comparable to a couple of motion pictures. So many congrats all round.

A small update on the demon......rigged (for now anyway) so I can pose him at least.

Just recently finished working on the latest Sky HD ad, with Charlie Cassidy and the people over at unit productions all made using after effects and a few othe tricks.. I really enjoyed this job. See it here.

new years resolutions 02

Here's project no:02

This is my Anger eating Demon. A project that has been knocking around for ever, he's based on a story by my mate David Edward, a buddhist by name and a buddhist by nature. He wrote a series of kids stories based on old buddhist myths and fables, they'd make the most amazing animated shorts......one day, one day.....
I still need to do a bit of work on him hair, and the rigging, but this year I'll at least be able to pose him and get some decent still renders of him.

New Years Resolutions

New years resolutions, aaaah don't you love the sound of them as the go crashing to the floor, having said that I hereby promise to attempt to finish some of these........

My Old fella:- he's been knocking around for aged. But I've got some nice ideas for some animated shorts. More later
